Who we're looking for.

AHEAD is built for young African superworkers — people with EPIC energy and the potential the right training turns into a career. You don't need a spotless CV. You need drive, and something to show for it.

If most of this sounds like you, apply. We would rather see your evidence than your credentials.

  • You're from Africa or the African diaspora — based anywhere in the world.
  • You're early-to-mid career (roughly 23–35), or older with a flexible, ambitious mindset.
  • You're fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You have a reliable laptop and internet good enough to stream video.
  • You're self-motivated — you keep going without anyone pushing you.
  • You can point to real achievement. A degree is welcome, but a track record speaks just as loud.

Before you apply.

Do I need a university degree?
No. A degree is welcome, but demonstrable achievement counts just as much. If you can show what you've built or delivered, you should apply.
Is there any cost to apply or take part?
There's no application fee. Scholarship places cover the course for eligible applicants. Future cohorts may blend scholarship and paid places, but you'll always know before you commit.
Who can apply, and from where?
Anyone from Africa or the African diaspora, based anywhere in the world. We look for early-to-mid-career drive and potential rather than a specific age or location.
What does the assessment involve?
About forty minutes on the platform: a short written English check and a reflective-thinking quiz. There's nothing to prepare — it's designed to see how you think, not what you've memorised.
How much time will the program take?
Around ten hours a week across roughly three to four months. It's fully online and built to fit around work and life.
What happens if I'm not selected this time?
You keep your account, and we'll let you know about future cohorts. Selection is competitive, so a "not yet" isn't a "never".
